We’re building a circular, walkable compost and medicinal pollinator garden that demonstrates the full cycle of regeneration — from soil → plant → wellness. This space will be part learning garden, part habitat, and part community gathering place.

Our mission with this project is to help everyday people reconnect with the land through simple composting, pollinator-friendly planting, and practical herbal education. We believe small, hands-on learning spaces can spark big change — healthier soil, healthier habitats, and healthier communities. That’s why we’re creating an easy-to-walk, easy-to-understand garden that shows the full story from waste to compost, compost to plants, and plants to everyday use.
Tuskegee Honey LLC is a private, working farm. Visits are by appointment only, and all in-person visitors must complete a waiver prior to participation.

Grown for its colorful calyces, which are traditionally used in beverages, food preparation, and cultural herbal traditions around the world.

Grown as an example of a multi-use plant — harvested young as a vegetable or allowed to mature and dry for household and craft uses.

Cultivated for its vivid blue flowers, commonly used for natural coloring, teas, and educational demonstrations about plant pigments.

Included for its long history of culinary, aromatic, and household use, as well as its ease of growth and value as a pollinator plant.

Planted to demonstrate perennial food plants that support pollinators while producing seasonal fruit and habitat.

Grown to show how one plant can produce different traditional teas through harvesting and processing methods, connecting agriculture to everyday life.

Grown for its strong fragrance, long blooming season, and exceptional value to pollinators. African Blue Basil produces abundant flowers that attract bees and beneficial insects throughout much of the year. In Zone 8b, it is a perennial, returning year after year and serving as a reliable, low-maintenance anchor plant in the medicinal pollinator garden.
